The body cross-section is an inverted triangular shape like a boat to control water flow and maintain a stable swimming posture. The cross-section at the base of the tail is thinned and elongated to suppress the transmission of rolling action and enhance the lateral wobbling action. Original Pentagonal Tail The tail shape is pentagonal, and by installing the keel up to the vertex of the pentagon, the shape change due to water flow is suppressed, resulting in a powerful action.
